Covid -19

Safety and hygiene for our guests while using the sauna is a priority.

Here’s how we’re handling your wellness during the Covid-19 pandemic:

The following stringent cleaning and disinfecting protocols will include:

  • Before each delivery, all touch surfaces and accessories will be cleaned with soap and water, followed by an EPA (Cavi Wipes) registered disinfectant.

All Glacier Sauna guests are strongly encouraged to follow these guidelines:

  • Only use the sauna with those in your family or household.

  • Sit on a towel during your sauna session.

  • Observe social distancing by spacing your rounds in the hot room.

  • Thoroughly wash your hands prior to your session.

Please reschedule if any of the following apply to you:

  • You have traveled, or have been in contact with anyone who has traveled outside the country in the last 14 days.

  • You have any of the following cold/flu/COVID-19 symptoms: fever, dry cough, unusual fatigue, sneezing, sore throat or difficulties breathing in the last 14 days.

  • You have been in contact with anyone that has demonstrated the above symptoms within the last 14 days.

If we are aware of a guest who becomes sick or has a Covid-19 diagnosis following use of the sauna, the following will occur:

  • All surfaces of the sauna will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

  • The sauna will be run for 2 hours continuous at a minimum of 150° Fahrenheit to ensure all surfaces inside the sauna reach this temperature. The most recent research indicates that this temperature will ensure no contagious virus remains on the surface or as aerosols inside the sauna.

  • The sauna will be unavailable for 24hrs to allow for deep cleaning.

*Please note that these policies are based on recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Sauna from Finland cleaning instructions. These cleaning policies could change to comply with any updates to the most recent CDC Guidelines and local community guidance.
